CM Rekha Gupta Flags Off U Special Bus, Travels with Youth in Delhi

Delhi witnessed a significant step toward enhancing public transport services as Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the U Special Bus service. The launch aimed at providing safe, reliable, and youth-friendly travel facilities across the city.

To mark the occasion, CM Rekha Gupta herself boarded the bus, interacting with the young commuters during the journey. She emphasized that the initiative is designed to make public transport more accessible and appealing to the younger generation, especially students and professionals.

Accompanying her on the journey were Delhi’s Transport Minister Pankaj Singh and Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari, who highlighted the government’s commitment to improving last-mile connectivity and ensuring safety measures for passengers.

The new bus service is expected to reduce dependency on private vehicles, thereby cutting down congestion and pollution levels in the city. With the government’s focus on smart transport, the initiative is also seen as a step toward building sustainable urban mobility in the national capital.
