Akhanda 2: Thandavam Gears Up for Grand Reveal — Here’s What We Know So Far

 Telugu cinema’s mass entertainer, Akhanda, created waves upon release, and its much-anticipated sequel Akhanda 2: Thandavam is finally on the horizon. An official update is set to be revealed at 10:54 AM on June 8, 2025, and excitement among Nandamuri Balakrishna fans is already at a fever pitch.



The film marks the fourth collaboration between Balayya and director Boyapati Sreenu, a pair that has consistently delivered action-packed blockbusters. The upcoming sequel continues the spiritual and mythological tone set by the original, with an even larger canvas and more intense narrative.

Production kicked off during the holy Maha Kumbh Mela, a fitting backdrop for a story so rooted in dharma and divine justice. After key scenes were shot in Prayagraj, the crew headed abroad to Georgia, capturing breathtaking visuals that promise to enrich the viewing experience.

The film features Pragya Jaiswal and Samyukta Menon as the heroines, while Aadhi Pinisetty will portray the central villain, bringing a new dimension to the battle of good vs evil. Thaman S, a consistent hitmaker, returns to score music that’s expected to once again dominate charts and amplify the film’s emotional gravity.
